PowerPol 2X PCR Mix is an optimized premix containing DNA polymerase, dNTPs, MgCl2, KCI and other stabilizers. This product is suitable for conventional PCR amplification. The template can be purified DNA, bacterial colonies/bacteria liquid, crude extract or cDNA, etc. This product can use complex genomic DNA as a template to amplify a target fragment of 5 kb in length or a simple template such as lambda DNA to amplify a target fragment of 10 kb in length. It is suitable for applications such as PCR reaction, colony PCR identification, vector construction and so on. etc.

Reaction strips include (8) 0.2mL tubes with ultra thin sidewalls and bottoms for more uniform and efficient temperature transfer, therefore reducing PCR reaction time in most 96-well V bottomed thermal cyclers such as MJ Research, Perkin Elmer Hybaid and others. They are more easily handled than single tubes. They will precisely fit standard well spacing and can also be used with 8-channel hand-held pipettors. All strips are molded of polypropylene under the most stringent conditions. Non-attached cap strips are available in dome or flat top designs and ensure a perfect closure during the whole thermal cycle.
